Filling a Cash Prescription
Be sure you have entered all the prescription information before filling a prescription.
- Open a prescription in Rx Detail.
- Enter the prescription information.
- Press the Fill button.
- If you have set Prompt for Dialogue on Fill as a default pharmacy setting, the Dialogue window appears. Complete the Dialogue window and press OK.
- The Processing dialogue box appears. The prescription's current status is S, indicating the prescription is being processed.
Note: If you do not want to complete the Dialogue window at this time, press Cancel.
Once the Processing dialogue box disappears, the prescription labels and counselling leaflet are printed and the prescription is moved to the Completed tab.
Note: If there is a problem with the transaction processing system (TPS) or transaction handling system (THS or THSIP), the prescription's current status is Queued, indicating the prescription will be queued. Press the Queue button in the Processing dialogue box to queue the prescription.
Note: If you have set Dialogue is Required as a default pharmacy setting, the prescription stays on the Pending tab with a Status of Pending until you complete the Dialogue window.
